We have had wet weather here today. The promise of summer heat has been snatched back, and its gloomy and damp, and quite wet. I personally adore this sort of weather. I can sit in my study and cruise the net. Or I can sew, looking out my window into the garden bed. Best of all, its quiet and so I hear this beautiful bird.
Currawongs love the wet weather. They congregate in my garden, or on the front veranda, getting out of the rain, using the atmosphere to amplify their calls.
