Ok so I get out from in front of the computer on the weekends I have decided to start a little project, ok maybe not so little. I am going to convert a Suzuki RG250 motorcycle into an electric bike for commuting.
Here is the donor bike with me on it.
I plan to install a 72 Volt Mars motor which is 15Kw with a pile of batteries to make it go. Aim to get a top speed of 90km/h and a range of approx 40 – 50Km enough for my daily commute.
I will keep you all posted.
Here are the original specs of the bike.
